Deep Eye Care Foundation (DECF) was established in Darshona, Rangpur, in Northern Bangladesh to address the staggering disparity in eye care availability in this underserved region. For millions of residents across Rangpur, Dinajpur, Gaibandha, Kurigram, and Nilphamari, advanced eye treatments were once out of reach.
Over the past 18+ years, DECF has treated more than 2.45 million outpatients, performed over 163,000 surgical procedures, and restored clear vision to more than 1.05 million people.

Our base hospital in Darshona, Rangpur, is designed to international clinical protocols with sterile operation theatres and digital diagnostic suites.
Equipped with HEPA filtration, surgical microscopes (Carl Zeiss / Leica), and Phacoemulsification units maintaining near-zero surgical infection rates.
Specially configured for infants and children with general anesthesia monitoring, warmers, and child-adapted diagnostic instruments.
Digital telemedicine interconnecting all 7 peripheral Vision Centres with senior hospital consultants in real-time.
